The mission of Mentoring Movement is to provide intentional discipleship, to the body of Christ, through practical teaching and covenant conversations. Founded in 2019, by Dr. Ashley Nelson, this non-denominational bible-based ministry has grown from one small social media group to multiple outlets with hundreds of enthusiastic counterparts passionate about Jesus. It is our prayer that you will be encouraged to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ through the free resources we offer here, in gatherings and on social media.
We are not a church, but a supplemental ministry focused on spiritual growth. We are committed first to prayer and additionally to sound biblical teaching. Our lead team comes from different backgrounds and denominations, but each of us is committed to loving and leading well. You won’t find a membership form, list of obligations, offering plate or application at Mentoring Movement. We believe in the local church and each of our leaders attends and serves through their local body of believers. Additionally, they serve here sacrificially and willingly so that we can provide a trusted source for prayer support, encouragement, and sound biblical teaching.
Founder, Dr. Ashley Nelson, was blessed to be raised in the faith by mentors and spiritual leaders who laid strong foundations of prayer and doctrine that she still walks on today. Abiding in Christ and aligned with His word, God has called her, and this team, to perpetuate spiritual growth to advance the kingdom of God.
